I’ve played many golf courses in my life, but there’s one that is without any doubt the best of all, and that’s the TPC Toronto, formerly named Osprey Valley. The venue, with 3 different golf courses, is one of the best in Canada, and it never ceases to impress me.
This year I wanted to achieve the challenge of playing all 3 courses in one day, and it was a total success. Every course is a different challenge with it’s own special shape to test your game, and I have to say that all 3 courses’ conditions are very close to absolute perfection.
The Heathlands is always truthful to its golf links idea, with narrow fairways and a long rough, very hard to deal with. The Hoot is probably more and more charming every year, with its unique scenery surrounded by trees, and as a finishing course during the sunset is just beautiful.
And the North Course… What a change in one year, and what a golf course!!! Maybe thanks to the new TPC management, but this course is beyond exceptional. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are just perfect, and it really makes you feel like you’re playing a professional tournament. While walking some of the holes, you can perfectly picture yourself playing surrounded by a big crowd. I’ve been lucky to be at Glenn Abbey during the RBC Canadian Open, and it’s a great course, but the North Course at TPC Toronto could perfectly host a PGA Tour event in the next few years.
Amazing experience once again at the TPC Toronto, and looking forward to come back next year. Here are some of my pictures of this great venue for great golf lovers:
