New York City

“Concrete jungle where dreams are made of, there’s nothing you can do”.

Love can be defined in many different ways, and we can feel it for many reasons. We love people, pets, food, etcetera, but we can also love places. And we all know which is the most loved place in the world, at least in the t-shirt market. Well… I don’t need a t-shirt to love New York City, I just do it!

I’m a privileged person because I’ve been able to spend so much time in The Big Apple in the past 6 years. Every visit has been during different stages of my life. I’ve visited the city to discover, to live in, as transit to Toronto. I’ve visited the city to heal, and several times to motivate myself and find my way for a come back just to enjoy it, like I’ve done lately. Just 2 days non-stop walking the city could give me more energy than a week in a 5-star hotel. This city is been always there for every purpose of my life.

Every detail about New York is special; its noise, its views, its food, it’s people. Yes, I said people, because there’s a huge misunderstanding that sets Newyorkers as poorly behaved and mean people. They are not mean on the street, they just have a life to live, a job to go to, and they move fast, like any big city in general. And they are not poorly behaved, they will help you to find anything you’re looking for anytime you want, at least in my experience. I’d say that every single person in this world is worth to visit New York, of course, but not all of them are ready to enjoy it accordingly, so they prefer to criticize instead of being ready.

There are so many reasons to describe why I love New York, and I will do it separately by sections, telling my own feelings and experiences. I love this city because it always make me smile when I’m sad, it always make me stronger when I’m feeling weak, and it always make me recover who I am when I’m a little lost. I love New York because it always brings happiness to my life.
